We are looking for first-person, long-form pieces about the work of building - the parts that are usually edited out. Endings, hesitations, the small reversals, the conversations on the kitchen floor.

We pay on acceptance. We edit slowly and carefully, usually over four to eight weeks. We are happy to publish anonymously when the piece requires it.
